Kick Off Event @ Woodstock Farmers Market
SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland
On Sunday, September 19, 2021, participating Woodstock businesses will be raising funds for charity in an exclusive, district-wide event called Woodstock Gives Back. People have a chance to support the work of various local charities simply by shopping and dining in Woodstock that day. Supporting businesses help raise awareness for their favorite nonprofits and increase customer loyalty by promoting these valuable causes.
Falling on Portland’s last weekend of summer, the fun kicks off at the Woodstock Farmers Market from 10am to 2pm on SE Woodstock Blvd. between SE 45th & 46th. Look for Woodstock Gives Back volunteers at the market’s Community Booth and pick up raffle tickets to win fabulous gift certificates and prizes donated by Woodstock businesses, with proceeds to be split between Woodstock and Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Associations.
Also find Woodstock Gives Back information and raffle tickets and learn about other nonprofits at a special tabling area kitty-corner to the farmer’s market near Cloud City Ice Cream between 10am and 4pm. Cloud City will be donating 15% of total sales (Noon to 10pm) to SE Girls Basketball.
Pick up pet supplies at Healthy Pets NW at the north end of Safeway parking lot, which is holding their own raffle for the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon. Swing by Otto’s Sausage Kitchen for lunch, knowing that all proceeds from sidewalk hotdog and sausage sales will go to the Alex Rovello Memorial Foundation. Check the endless summer deals at Red Fox Vintage’s EPIC sidewalk sale with all proceeds going to East Portland Planned Parenthood.
