While we may not be able to travel to Spain at the moment that does not mean we can’t enjoy a taste of their delicious cuisine. Bar Vivant has put together a selection of Spanish food and drink items just for Dad. Recreate the tapas bar in your dining room, back yard, man cave or anywhere you want. Be sure to pour you cider from great heights and throw those pesky napkins on the floor (or the lawn!)
Preorder a package for pick up June 18 – June 21 or have one shipped nationwide earlier in the week. There will also be a version without the cider in the Pix-O-Matic (our 24 hour contactless vending machine outside the front door) in the days leading up to Father’s Day.

My parents honestly thought they’d spend their post-retirement years doing things they’d never been able to while tethered to their jobs, including visiting Europe. But just months after my dad retired, he started having serious heart and gastro problems. They never resolved, and now my mom’s health is declining, too. They’re not gonna make it to Spain, or France – we’re *hoping* they’ll both be well enough to visit Portland once the ‘rona ramps down – but I try to send them stuff. Food, picture books, you know. Any little bit of wonder. Any little bit of joy.
This would be such a wonderful gift for my man!!! He is an amazing father, An incredible Boyfriend and works his but off everyday to provide A good life for his kids!! He deserves a treat!!!

I was halfway through my trip in Spain when I got called back home due to COVID, and I know one day I’ll be able to complete my trip! But I have always loved Pix since you were on Division and I know you could help bring a little of Spain to me during these difficult times!

After we got married, my current husband adopted my disabled daughter (from my previous marriage). He has been so supportive of her, not in an enabling way, but in a way that provides her healthy challenges where she can be safe outside her comfort zone, learning and growing. They have a very special relationship that I am in awe of. Our family was going on a trip to Spain, ready to fly out 3/12/20. Well as you know, that’s basically when commercial air travel and COVID hit the fan. We couldn’t risk traveling with our daughter with all that going on. This package would be the perfect taste of Spain, honoring my husband and how he’s a father to our daughter, and giving him that taste of Spain that was abruptly taken from him.

My dad is one of the most inspirational people I know. He grew up in a poor family in rural Taiwan. At a young age, he went deaf because his family couldn’t afford medicine. He was only able to finish 9th grade before he started working to support his family. Many years later, he got training as a dental technician. He works extremely hard to support my family and make sure that I have the opportunities that he didn’t have.
What a great way to celebrate Father’s Day ! I really miss Basque / Spanish tapas cuisine ….. my mouth is watering already !

My Father, who is actually my uncle married to my biological aunt, has always been there for me. Even more than my real dad and my several step-dads. He taught me to drive, let me live with his family and pay for everything when I could no longer live with my mom and step-dads, took me on vacations, walked me down the aisle, and helped me when I was abandoned by my ex and left with nothing. He has helped me move numorous times and is always available to help fix things that break.ost people don’t even get that from a real father but I was fortunate enough to have this wonderful man in my life and I thank God for him every day.

I wish I could be with my Dad this Father’s Day. He’s in pdx in grandpa duty. We spent many years traveling in Spain when I used to live there and this would certainly bring back vivid memories of shared laughs over wonderful food and drink.
