For someone who’s fairly new to Oregon, I’d love the opportunity to see the wonders and beauty of Oregon first hand.
I have lived in this part of the country for 5 years and I love the magical atmosphere of the PNW.
I would love the opportunity to take this tour and learn some of the great history.
Until recently I was working a job that consumed all my time. 7 days a week and up to 89 hours a week. I now how have a normal 49 hour work week and this would be a great jump start to discovering the magical beauty of the gorge.

I’m not an oregon native so it would be an incredible gift to view the beauty of the area from the water. Especially the gorge. I’m also likely to miss my annual summer trip to Wisconsin to visit my family and the Packers due to corona, a HUGE disappointment. A leisurely/educational tour along one of our scenic waterways would certainly ease that loss.

Even though I grew up in Portland, I haven’t ever been on the Portland Spirit! I competed in dragon boat racing and I love being out on the water and seeing our city from a unique perspective. I spent the past year volunteering in the development sector in India and only recently returned home. Getting to finally go on the Portland Spirit would be the perfect homecoming post-quarantine.

I’ve been stuck in a small apt. for 7 months now, due to an after-hospital recovery at home starting in Nov. which then continued on with the covid-19 stay-at-home. It would be a wonderful way to finally celebrate my recovery by getting out into the fresh air and beauty of a river cruise, and sharing the experience with my family and friends.
