I’d love to try this. Reminds me of our family reunions in Kentucky when my aunts would make homemade ice cream and cider.
Way back in the before time, in the long, long ago; my wife was a huge fan of your ciders (she’s considered by many who know her to be a bit of a hard cider and wine connesseur).
As this was always one of our favorite establishments to frequent, whether for a cidery summertime happy hour with coworkers or just a quiet relaxing date night type of thing with just us, and considering how deeply saddened she’s been recently that so many of the places she truly enjoyed patronizing are/were shutdown either temporarily or permanently, I’m not sure she’s even realized that there are still a handful of these places open again for now.
Given my rather meager earnings of late as a part-time delivery driver/still “furloughed” geologist, I would absolutely relish in the opportunity to surprise her by taking her out on a real life date night there again, giving her a brief reprieve from so much time stuck working from home and the sorry substitutes of “virtual happy hours” and the always fun at-home date nights, as well as all the other iterations of activities we used to enjoy that the current madness manifesting itself over these recent months have seemingly forced upon us.
