Get involved in the clean energy transition with the Native Clean Energy Workforce Initiative! The NCWI helps train students to enter the fast growing solar and clean energy industries with a no cost education. This training is tailored to accommodate a wide range of participants, with no prior experience required. Anyone 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or GED living in the Portland Metro area is eligible.

NCWI Students Will:

Complete an intensive 3-week training in residential solar installation. Receive financial assistance to learn about one of the nation’s fastest growing industries! Monetary support is offered. Advance your education through a full tuition covered 6-month certificate program in Renewable Energy Technology (RET) or a 2-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) at Clackamas Community College.
