Portland in the News: New Parks Developments; Best Mocktails; Group Aims for more Diversity in Winter Sports | January 5, 2023
Formed in 2021, Open Slopes PDX promotes diversity in winter sports by breaking down barriers BIPOC groups face getting on the slopes.
Portland Parks recently approved $15.5 million in funding for a new skate park, playground & a community garden and other projects.
And after 43 years, Sloan’s Tavern is closing in North Portland after the owners retired.
