The Goodfoot will have an art opening last Thurs May 29th. the show will be up until June 22nd. This months feature artist is EMEK. Will be floor to ceiling art, hundreds of rock posters and art prints, some old classics along with a some of his newer work. Along with music selected by DJ Welly Well.

Emek is a designer, illustrator and fine art painter. Bridging the gap between the psychedelic imagery of the 1960’s and the pop-culture and post-industrial iconography of the 1990’s, Emek has emerged as one of the most successful poster artists of the contemporary era, creating memorable work informed by elements of fantasy, social commentary and biting wit. The work — hand-drawn and then silkscreen-printed in limited editions of only a few hundred, quickly found favor with musicians and collectors alike, and he has since designed pieces creatively advertising events for hundreds and hundreds of bands and festivals around the world. He was invited to exhibit at the opening of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been featured in national and international magazines, as well as interviews on CNN, OPB and PBS.
