The 6th Annual Portland Horror Film Festival™ is back! From July 28 – August 5, we are screening Live at the Hollywood Theatre AND streaming nationwide! With more than 80 short and feature films from around the world, this is a diverse and inclusive lineup of the best independent horror films. Every show features a different selection of Horror Shorts, Features, Q&As with filmmakers, plus pre-recorded and live events.
This year’s festival is a hybrid show with 5 live theatrical screenings AND 4 streaming only exclusives that you can watch at home. To see everything, you’ll want to get a full theater pass and a streaming exclusive pass.

I’m a big horror fan AND a big Hollywood Theatre fan but haven’t attended this festival yet.
I am a Special Ed teacher in Clatskanie and I have a ASD student who just graduated from High School who just loves all things horror movie. He even developed his own Magic the Gathering cards with vintage horror movie themed monsters and so forth. I would love to call him and be able to offer this opportunity to him. He can’t drive and I would take him to it. He did a really cool diorama for art based on horror movie themes.

Since I was a young kid I adored scary movies and would laugh at the person dying knowing it was an actor. I have lived in the Oregon area for 6 years and have also studied cinema! I had no idea this existed and I would love to have a chance to attend this event, it would be one of the books!
