Being a Fan of Floater since the 90’s and fan of Pink Floyd since I was a kid in the 80’s this would be an amazing show to see. Knowing the outstanding live shows Floater puts on with their own music, it would be wonderful to see what they do with Pink Floyd’s. Plus, my birthday is at the end of this month. (wink, wink) 😉

Pink Floyd was one of his favorite bands next to Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

Animals is one of the most meaningful albums of all time to me, and I have been to more Floater concerts than any other band. I could always hear the influence of Pink Floyd in Floater. I would love to hear your tribute to them!
I have always wanted to see a show at the Crystal Ballroom. Seeing Floater play Animals and floater favs at the Crystal Ballroom would be a highlight of the year.
My husband and I have only seen floater in concert together. Its like our special thing we do when ever they come to town. Its been a couple years and we are in desperate need of a date night, away from the kids. This would be perfect.
Man, I’ve been watching Floater continue to melt faces since their first show at the Battle of the Bands in the 90s. This would be an epic show to catch, I can’t wait!
Over 20 years floater has been the soundtrack to my life. My all time favorite. We live out of state now but we travel to see floater whenever possible! No other band touches the depths of my soul like floater. Their covers are legendary. We would be over the moon to get the opportunity to attend!

My dear old dad used to play this 8 track all of the time… yeah he was stoned. To this day I get instantly taken back to memories of him and my house in the late 70s when I hear this album. All of Pink reminds me him… but this one the most. ❤️ I would love to see this performed by Floater!

1) I am the only* person in the world (8 billion people as of yesterday) who has played Floater in Antarctica.
* almost definitely – you can take that to the bank.
2) I promised my 8yo son, Evan, that his mother and I would take him to the Dec. 3 show before I found out the concert is sold out. <<<this is the REAL reason I need them tix (!) Evan just rocks – so I gotta try for the lil man. His mother and I have tickets – these are for Evan and my brother, Erick, aka E-rock (more on E-rock below, see reason #7)
3) I have followed this band since before their first album, Sink, which I own, and am a huge fan. Huge. I am practically gigantic.
4) My wife, Sarah (18 years married!) says she fell hard for me when she saw me diggin it at a Floater show in Ashland back in 2000, so that show resulted in a successful marriage and an amazing child (!)
5) I BUY Floater cd's and support the band – I would never pirate their art. Never.
6) I promote Floater constantly, forcing friends and strangers alike to listen to Sink, Angels, Burning, Alter, Wake, Stone, etc whenever I can. I do this alot.
7) The drawing will be held on my brother E-rock's birthday (November 18) and he will be coming too (if we win these tix!)
8) I LOVE the Crystal Ballroom!
9) Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time. I could gush on the Floyd, but suffice it to say: the plates on my '77 VW van read: FLOYD 59.

I’m almost 40 now and Floater has been a part of my life since I was in the 6th grade at Kelly Davinci middle school in Eugene. My older brother showed me Sink and Glyph and I automatically fell in love. Throughout the years I loved the ways that they switched up the style but somehow still kept with the floater “vibe” I was heartbroken to hear about Pete, Mark has definitely stepped up in a legends place… Anyway lol I missed the chance to buy my ticket because my payday is too late and I’d literally kill for a chance to see them do animals, cuz I know it’ll prolly be one, if not the last times in existence.
I think I’d rather see floater than Roger waters at this point
