Join us on November 18 or 19 at the Oregon Zoo for our fourth annual BrewLights, a ZooLights brew festival experience just for the 21-and-over crowd with more than 45 Northwest breweries and cideries to sample from.
BrewLights tickets include a souvenir cup and 10 beverage tastings (3-oz beer/cider) throughout the zoo. Guests can choose from 100 beer, seltzer and cider options from 45 Northwest breweries and cideries while strolling through colorfully-lit trees and dazzling 3-D light sculptures. For grown-ups interested in the lights without the beer sampling, a nondrinker ticket will be available as well.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. for early entry ticketholders; event general admission begins at 5 p.m. Taps close at 9:30 p.m., with the zoo closing at 10 p.m.
There are three admission options available for BrewLights:
- Early Entry Admission ($65): Allows ticketholders to enter the event between 4-5 p.m., one hour before general admission ticketholders. Admission includes a souvenir light-up cup and 10 drink samples.
- General Admission ($55): Includes a souvenir light-up cup and 10 drink samples.
- Nondrinker Admission ($35): Available for those who attend but do not consume alcohol. Nondrinker ticketholders can enter early if accompanied by an early entry ticketholder.
Additional drink tickets can be purchased on-site for $2 each

I have gone most years pre-covid and loved it. Last year I got a posse to go and it was terrible. We showed right on time for the 2nd evening wave and all alcohol servers were closed!! I would love to see if they’ve figured it out this year, for free, so I could redeem my reputation!

I was an Oregon ZooTeen volunteer for 4 years up until 2015, and spent more than 800 volunteer hours interning with zookeepers, and being an ‘education animal specialist’ at the zoo’s former Ed House & animal barn. I’m now a Northern Owl Surveyor, thanks in huge part to the inspiration of my years working at the Zoo. I’m also now a huge lover of local brews. It’d be serendipitous to get to attend! My fiancé and I are doing long distance while I’m in a 3 year grad school program in a different state. We’ve only had a few weeks together this year, and I will be in town that weekend for thanksgiving. Our relationship started on sharing a love for beer, and now I live in a state where the beer scene is subpar and I miss the PNW breweries. My fiancé has never been to zoo lights and I would love to take him while I’m home.

Our relationship began with our shared love for beer, and I am currently living in a state where no ABV above 5% can be on draft. (any guesses on the state?) I miss the wonderful breweries in the PNW, and this event would allow us to enjoy a variety of good breweries in one place AND my fiancé will get to experience his first zoo-lights.
