At the age of six, Mark Oliver Everett found himself at a neighbor’s garage sale where he saw the $15 toy drum set that would change his life.
By the time he was 20, Everett was obsessed with writing songs and recording them on his secondhand 4 track cassette recorder. Eventually someone heard some of his songs and asked him to record for a record label.
Now, after 12 studio albums, 2 live albums, a book, multiple documentaries, and years of touring, Mark Everett and the EELS come to Portland with new album “Earth To Dora,” along with other classics!

The Eels have been consistently serenading my soul for 27 years. I grew up in Alaska so the thought of ever seeing them (or any other band) live never even crossed my mind. 9 months of nightmarishly cold dark winter would’ve killed my spirit if it weren’t for the music I had. But the Eels have always been there for me, I would be overjoyed to get the chance to see them in person.
