I love HP Lovecraft! And what a great way to get into the spirit of the season by going to the HP Lovecraft Film Festival!

This is one of the best and most underrated film festivals in Portland; and the Hollywood Theater just adds to the overall aesthetic and vibes of the films presented. I’m a huge fan of horror, particularly Lovecraft, and I’ve attended single screenings before but this year I’d love to chance to attend the full festival with a weekend pass and experience as many films as possible (•,,,•)

I’ve missed the pizza, ice-cream & the Cthulhu girl for 3 years. The films are amazing, but watching them with community is what makes it a festival.

I don’t want these for myself, but for my partner. Huge movie guy, member at movie madness, makes shorts with a local film group here for fun, obsessed with horror, and about died when I admitted I had no idea who hp Lovecraft even was. Different school systems clearly. Please pick me so I can gift these to him!

  8. Damon on September 28, 2023 at 10:59 pm

My partner is super into Science Fiction and Thrillers. He’s read all of HP Lovecraft’s major books and is a big nerdy alien/creature history fanatic. I’d love to take him here and have a cute date in all that he loves. Please, please!

  17. Mark Wood on October 3, 2023 at 3:26 pm

I’m 16 weeks pregnant and this thing inside me keeps demanding I consume more and more horror. Who am I to object? My mind and body no longer belong to me. My heartbeat and tummy gurgles are not mine anymore- just the soundtrack to the creature’s life that is slowly stealing my beauty and my will. Help me, PDX pipeline. Help. Me.

  22. Paula on October 3, 2023 at 9:37 pm

    Take me there! Single again….

  23. K on October 3, 2023 at 11:04 pm
