You’ll need a pair of binoculars and a whole lot of patience, but volunteers with the Cascades Pika Watch are rewarded with a rare glimpse of fluffy, potato-sized Pikas in the Gorge!
It’s almost strawberry season and Portland Monthly has the low down on where to go for all your jam, pie and snacking needs.
And smoother streets are coming soon to 82nd Avenue. Two miles of the Avenue of Roses will get a fresh pave job beginning May 27.
