Portland in the News: Best German Food, Lost & Found, Softball & More | January 15, 2026

It’s 9pm. Do you know where your Labubu is? The Portland airport’s lost and found might have an idea. In 2025, the airport logged 21,500 missing items including several of the luxury plush toys.

Pass the sauerkraut! A Portland German restaurant has been named one of the best in the US by Tasting Table, saying Edelweiss Sausage & Delicatessen “transports you to Germany in a spiritual sort of way.”

And if you’re eager to see a ball game, a new women’s professional softball league, the Portland Cascade, will batter up beginning June 9.
