Speakers & Performers 

Explore the science behind addiction with Dr. Milky Kohno, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at OHSU and Research Scientist at the VA Portland Health Care System. Dr. Kohno’s research explores the impact of psychosocial, behavioral, and genetic factors on addiction. 

Hear from advocate, educator, and leader in the field of gambling recovery, Kitty Martz. Serving as both the President of the Board of Directors for the Oregon Council on Problem Gambling and the Executive Director of Voices of Problem Gambling Recovery, Kitty leads initiatives that empower individuals in recovery from gambling addiction. 

Learn about a lived-experience turned powerhouse mentor with Alex Green, former NFL running back. Through his Dream and Believe Foundation, he champions at-risk youth, lifting up students with learning challenges, guides athletes as they leap from high school to college, and leads life-changing programs in drug and alcohol recovery and prevention. 

Enjoy live music from Portland-native singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist Kasey Anderson, who is also the Executive Director of the Alano Club of Portland, a leading source of addiction recovery support in our community for over 60 years.
