Nimiipuu Protecting the Environment will be hosting the Tipping Point for Salmon event on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at the Billy Frank Jr. Conference Center at Eco-Trust in Portland, Oregon from 9 am to 3 pm. Speakers will begin presenting at around 9:30 am. This event is open and free to the public and there is no cost to attend but donations are welcome. Free lunch is included.

The Tipping Point for Salmon features distinguished speakers who will discuss pressing issues surrounding salmon, orcas, dam breaching, wolves, and grizzlies. This is a great opportunity for people to learn and understand why they should advocate for animals who are sacred to the Nimiipuu. We encourage the public to attend and get motivated to show support for stronger protections for salmon, orcas and predators currently being targeted.

We exist to carry on sustainable environmental practices in the tradition of the Nimiipuu by facilitating and organizing tribal youth and adults in activities for the protection, enhancement, and promotion of Mother Earth and the Nimiipuu culture.
