Are you Street Roots’ Development Director for our next era?

Overview
The Development Director will strategize development opportunities and lead a committed development team. We seek an experienced development professional whose knowledge, creativity and mentorship leads sustainable growth to make a strong impact for people experiencing homelessness and poverty — overseeing our annual fund drives, sponsorships, recurring donors, annual events, major donor program, volunteers, as well as the waning months of the capital campaign. A special opportunity at Street Roots is working with the Gratitude Brigade, Street Roots vendors who are paid to write thank-you notes, give donor tours and support phone banks and more. With a current budget of $1.4 million, Street Roots seeks sustainable growth to make a strong impact in the community, keep up with inflation and provide just wages.

Street Roots workplace
The Street Roots workplace is one in which one is faced with a wide spectrum of human experiences, sometimes painful, sometimes inspiring.
