Rapidly growing, fast paced CPA firm looking for another member of our close-knit group.  We have experienced a tremendous growth in the past 12 months because of our customer-service emphasis and desire to help our clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • TITLE:  CPA/CPA Candidates
  • EXPERIENCE:  3-5 years in a CPA office
  • DEPARTMENT: Tax
  • REPORTS TO: President and CPA of the Company
  • FLSA: Non-exempt
  • Salary Range: TBD: DOE
  • Hours: Full Time, M-F 8:30 – 5, with overtime of up to 15 hours per week between January and April
  • Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision with Kaiser- Most, if not all, paid by Employer.

  • Start date: Immediate

Perfect Candidate Summary

CPA or on the track to becoming one, with 3-5 years of experience in a CPA firm, preferably a small firm and preferably in the tax and accounting area.  We are experiencing break-net growth in our company due to high quality work, great work environment, and unique sales methods.  Candidate must fit into our environment as we have a relaxed, but serious group of employees dedicated to putting the company first and thus gleaning the benefits of their labor and devotion.  Fun, yet serious environment.  You would be able to talk to any employee here to confirm that this is true.  Ideal candidate fits with this environment, and brings with them experience in tax preparation, both individual and small business.  In-office work only, no remote, in SW Portland (near Tigard).  Drama-free workplace, led by experienced CPA/Owner.  Compensation, both short-term and long-term, will not disappoint, as long as the above mentioned skills and attitudes are there.  Looking for long-term candidates ready to settle down into a career job with us.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Proven facility in MS Office, data entry and use of office equipment (i.e. telephone, headset, 10-key calculator, PC, FAX machine, photo copier)
  • Proven facility in customer service, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with QuickBooks online
  • Experience in tax software, preferably Lacerte.
  • Experience in both Personal and Business tax returns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
