July 4th weekend is nearly here and as always, we have a large list of Portland July 4th weekend events including fireworks, parades, festivals, BBQs, cuises, parties, dinners, concerts, and more. In 2017, July 4th falls on Tuesday, so there will be parties all weekend!

On Monday and Tuesday, the Pickles will play a pair of doubleheaders against the Perth Heat, an All-Star club team from Australia, and the Medford Rogues, the first-place team in the Great West League. The Pickles will play Perth’s 18U team and both contests will constitute as exhibition games.

Original Practice Shakespeare Fest is dedicated to bringing a new style of Shakespearean performance to Portland, and the surrounding area, by reviving the old. Their actors perform using the same performance techniques as they did in Shakespeare’s own time, which means limited rehearsal; an onstage prompter; fast-paced, energetic acting; and lots of audience interaction!
The 2017 Portland Concerts in the Park series kicks off Wednesday, July 5th, and runs throughout July, August & September at parks across the city. The concerts are free and begin at 6:30PM.
