June 21-September 1st: The summer of 2019 marks the 13th season of Movies in the Park throughout Portland communities!
Original Practice Shakespeare Fest is dedicated to bringing a new style of Shakespearean performance to Portland, and the surrounding area, by reviving the old. Their actors perform using the same performance techniques as they did in Shakespeare’s own time, which means limited rehearsal; an onstage prompter; fast-paced, energetic acting; and lots of audience interaction!
The 2019 Portland Concerts in the Park series kicks off Friday, June 21, and runs throughout July, August & September at parks across the city. The concerts are free and begin at 6:30PM.

June 22-23 @ Oregon Convention Center – If you’re looking for “that” special thing–or things–to complement your geeky lifestyle, there is simply no better place to shop; everything for sale at GeekCraft Expo is incredibly unique, limited in quantity (i.e. NOT mass produced—this stuff is all made by hand) and TOTALLY NERDY!
To celebrate the grand opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, June 14th , 2019 at 9am. Immediately after the festivities, the store will officially open for business. To further celebrate the grand opening, all day there will be giveaways depending on purchase amount, a lion dance, and live entertainment.
EastBurn will have the World Cup games on upstairs on the bar projector screen until the finals then they will also show them on the large pull down projector screen in the restaurant. Is the taproom is open, the games will on down there, too.
