Hoo is an invasive species that likes to pluck hats off of unsuspecting Portland hikers? The barred owl has been on the attack in Oregon since the 70s.
Luckily, the adorable owls at the Oregon Zoo are cozy and well fed in their fenced off exhibits. The Zoo is offering free admission to federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
