When the stars ascend and the lotus lanterns float, embark on a magical summer night at Lan Su Chinese Garden. In honor of the Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day) listen to folktales of Chinese star-crossed lovers and enjoy captivating performances of Japanese Taiko and Chinese Guzheng in the beauty of Lan Su at twilight.

Recreate the Magpie bridge from Chinese folklore and help unite the lovers – write a love note on paper cutouts and then take it to the rainbow bridge and hang it.

Get a fan custom-painted by one of Lan Su’s resident scholars during the event and take a bit of Lan Su home with you.

Round out your evening at Yun Shui Teahouse and leave room for dessert – they have a special signature celestial ice cream bar just for this event!
