Description

As a Production Team Maker, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing our creations to life. This position involves hands-on work, including extensive sanding, finishing, assembling, and preparing our products for shipment. You will be immersed in the world of fine craftsmanship, surrounded by the finest materials and the spirit of excellence. 

Essential Tasks

Craftsmanship: Sanding, finishing, and assembling products with utmost precision and dedication.
Material Handling: Working confidently with materials such as wood, leather, metal, and cork.
Tool Operation: Utilizing standard woodworking tools and power tools efficiently. Working with CNC and Laser Engraving machines. Prior experience is appreciated, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Workshop Management: Maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workshop environment, which involves a lot of standing and movement.
Team Collaboration: Engaging positively with a tight-knit team, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual support.
Continuous Improvement: Adopting and fostering a mindset of constant growth, development, and enhancement of our methods and products.
Quality Control: Keeping an eagle eye on aesthetics and details to ensure every product meets Grovemade’s unparalleled standards of excellence.

Competencies

Comfortability in a woodshop environment.
Familiarity with standard woodworking tools and power tools is a plus.
A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for aesthetics.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical strength.
Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Position Type

This is a full-time, in person position. Hours are Monday through Friday and can range from 7:00am to 5:00pm. (Typically 7:30am to 4:00pm)  Approximately 35-40 hrs/week. Compensation is $18.50 – $21.00 per hour depending on skill level, with the opportunity to increase with skill level.
