Marmoset is seeking a Creative Partnerships Director – Trailers for TV, Film and Video Games

We’re deepening our sales and business development team and seeking a partner with a specialty area of focus in trailers for TV, film, video games and other media. The Creative Partnerships Director role is responsible for driving revenue, meeting sales goals and building client relationships at the highest level. You will represent and pitch Marmoset’s growing, independent music roster and catalog with producers, music supervisors, creatives and executives at big brands, broadcast and media networks, studios and creative agencies. The ideal candidate is established and experienced in music licensing sales and partnership development including representing record labels, publishers and/or music licensing catalogs. You have a proven, verifiable track record of success; familiarity with big licensing deals, blanket deals, bulk deals, and long-term sync agreements. This is a distributed (remote) role.

Basics: You have a strong existing network in Trailers for TV, Film and Video Games. At least 5 years of experience in a sales or biz dev role and a successful track record we can talk about. You work well both independently and collaboratively. Ability to travel, attend a high volume of client meetings and work with a close-knit team is critical.

Personality: You’re a people person, driven by creating and growing relationships. A self-starter with a contagious “can-do” attitude. You welcome criticism, often seek feedback and you embrace accountability. You’re quick to ask for help and also to offer help. Driven by results and purpose.

Abilities: Exceptional at relationships and sales. Creating genuine relationships with clients is paramount to you. You’re a closer. Confident at public speaking, presenting and pitching. Strong, assertive communication. You embrace frequent reporting and accountability. You’re a team player, motivated by helping everyone win.

Experience: At least 5 years experience in a related sales or biz dev role and well-versed in the sync music industry. CRM experience required. You have a deep network and a successful track record we can talk about.

Pay: Manager- or Director-level role (DOE) with commensurate compensation + commission.
