Take a plane ride back in time to a 1960 Paris apartment, with 3 flight attendant fiancées, 1 bachelor, and plenty of immersive turbulence!

Fly with us to a Paris apartment in the swinging ’60s, where you’ll meet playboy architect Bernard Lawrence. He lives with his fiancée, TWA airline stewardess Gloria—and Lufthansa stewardess Gretchen—and Alitalia stewardess Gabriella. However, none of the women know about the other two, and this is exactly the way Bernard has designed it. This works just fine as long as their flight schedules only bring them home every three days. Bernard’s live-in maid, Berthe, is key in pulling off this ruse, managing three sets of clothing, photographs, bed linens, and food preferences. But with the arrival of a long-lost friend and the new Boeing jet, Bernard’s plans hit some turbulence when his three fiancees all arrive at the same time.

ETP’s production will immerse you right in the heart of Bernard’s 1960s apartment, where there is no bad seat in the house. Choose a reserved seat for the best view (and most comfortable spots in the house), or general admission to choose any non-reserved seat in the apartment. Want to make your experience extra special? Purchase a First Class date night/buddy night package that features a small charcuterie tray, a bottle of Prosecco or Martinellis, and bundtinis for an intermission dessert. Delicious!

Fasten your seatbelts for a “deliciously, deliriously innocent sex comedy.” (The New York Times) Be prepared to laugh out loud and enjoy the most deliriously funny flight of your life!

1960 in Paris, right the the midst of New Wave Cinema and the beginning of a wild ride of a decade I wish I could have been part of. This sounds like the next best thing!

I completely adore ETP’s productions and have been unable to afford to go to any of their productions in a year due to unexpected things life has thrown my way (but all is good thankfully!), but I would absolutely, positively love to be able to go and support them in this new production in their new space thanks to PDX Pipeline!

I retired from being a pilot a couple years after turning 50. Ahhh, what it would be like to B-52 again. In all seriousness though, I’d PLANE love to TAKEOFF for a night of IN-FLIGHT entertainment that’s anything but BOEING!

  9. Kayl on April 28, 2025 at 5:08 pm

This sounds like a plane ride with turbulence that I actually WANT to experience!

  10. Cheryl on April 29, 2025 at 2:20 pm

I thought I wanted this, but retiree JM has spoken! I used to be married to a pilot and so I had grown to appreciate the industry, but JM should be moved from standby to first class.

*JM did not pay me to say so. JM and I do not have any prior connection.
