SW Broadway St. & SW Hall

The Beaverton Downtown Association (BDA) is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Lagerfest, taking place on Saturday, September 7th, from 2p.m. to 6p.m. on Broadway Street. This exciting event will feature the finest craft beers in the region, delectable food pairings, live music, fun activities for kids, and much more!

Broadway Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event, transforming it into a lively beer bash. Tickets are priced at $35 each and include a festive souvenir mug with enough tickets for 10 three-ounce tastings. Around 25 local breweries will set up booths along the street, allowing beer enthusiasts to sample their offerings and learn about the brewing process from passionate beer artisans.

Participating breweries include local favorites such as Great Notion, Migration, Silver Falls, and Steeplejack. Binary Brewing in Downtown Beaverton will host a special collaboration to create a unique lager available exclusively the week before and during the festival. Whether you’re craving a light and crispy pilsner or a dark and malty German-style dunkel, Lagerfest offers the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of beers and celebrate the vibrant Portland Metro area’s beer scene.

Ignite your taste buds with a mouth-watering selection of local food vendors, including, Mid City Smashburger, and Chonghi Pizza. From light pub fare to epicurean delicacies, there’s something for everyone. This year will also feature Rise Screen & Sign, who will be live screen-printing special edition Lagerfest t-shirts, on site. The event will also feature live music and a DJ, ensuring an upbeat atmosphere that’s sure to get everyone grooving!

Despite being a celebration of beer, Lagerfest is 100% family-friendly. The BDA encourages participants to bring the whole family! “Last year, we featured an amazing kids’ section that we’ll be doing again with even more activities,” says BDA Chair Kirsten Agard. Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) will organize a kid section with activities on East Street and engage kids with fun arts and crafts projects. Other activities include a face painter, cotton candy, and water play.

Downtown Beaverton is a vibrant community with locally owned restaurants, breweries, wine bars, and boutiques that will be open during the event and excited to be part of the fun. The BDA looks forward to showcasing its sparkling downtown and bringing the community together for this joyous occasion. “Everyone had a blast last year,” Kirsten recalls. “It’s the perfect way to unite the community to celebrate our local beer scene.”
