Mt. Angel Volksfest is a family-friendly event featuring a variety of German sausages made by local vendors, live music and entertainment, and local brews and wines! Toe-tapping bands like Festival Brass, Dopplebock, Paul Smith and Friends, and the Polkaticians will have you dancing your best polka and chicken dance. In the evenings, we turn up the dance party with Roman Giberson and the Long Haul (Friday) and Hit Machine (Saturday).

Kids will enjoy Gigglebritches the Clown’s balloon artistry and our face painter. The entire family can participate in “Volkswalk” – our version of a cake walk with great prizes for everyone. Plenty of food options are available between our German food vendors, and artisan vendors like Trails End Kettle Corn, Fordyce Farms delicious baked goods, 503 Distilling’s cocktails in a can and Six Stick Gourmet Pretzels to name a few. Local brews from Benedictine Brewery, Silver Falls Brewery, Ratchet and Block 15 will be on tap. Those interested in authentic German beer can enjoy a pint of Weihenstephan. If it is wine you’re interested in, our very own Hanson Vineyards and Paradis Vineyards will have a number of delicious offerings.

Admission is $10 for those 21 and over. Under 21 is free! Senior citizens are $5 each. Doors open at 11 am each day and the party runs until midnight Friday and Saturday, 6pm on Sunday.
