Founded in Portland, Oregon in 2013, and now based between PDX and Wellington, New Zealand, the band returns to their hometown to record new music together for the first time in four years – that’s right, this special concert at the Mission Theater is a fundraiser of sorts for their new record which begins production the same week! The band is thrilled to reconnect with the hometown fans they’ve come to know so well over the years before they delve deep into composing new material together in the ensuing weeks.

Joining are local openers Risley who have something big news to celebrate as well with the release or their new album! The band brings a cozy, heartfelt brand of PNW slacker rock reminiscent of Elliot Smith backed up by meandering Modest Mouse-style guitars and groovy rhythms. If you’re looking for a show that represents the perfect distillation of live, local Portland indie rock of past and present, this is it.
