Brandon Summers and Benjamin Weikel are the Portland, OR based band/production duo The Helio Sequence (www.heliosequence.com). They’ve been recording and performing professionally for over 20 years, releasing six full-length albums with legendary label Sub Pop, touring internationally as a headlining act, and supporting bands including Modest Mouse, The Pixies, Blonde Redhead, Keane, and Death Cab For Cutie. I’d love to be able to win tickets for this show! I’ve just started getting to know the music of the Helio Sequence and it would be awesome to see them live!

This is my favorite band in the universe. Helio Sequence is the greatest band to have ever come out of Portland Oregon, and I would really love to be able to take my 13 year old daughter to show her how amazing they are live.

I’d like to see them again to compare it to the time I saw them play the community room at a Lewis and Clark dorm in the mid-aughts. I haven’t seen them in almost 20 years!
