Years ago I attended “Wordstock” at Laurelhurst sponsored by Literary Arts and someone else who I just cannot remember. The poetry readings were dynamic. Those were the days when TriMet also had the “Poetry in Motion” up in buses. Ah, Old Portland! This event might serve as a nostalgic touchstone for those memories.

Yes I am a farmer and beekeeper, but I do read too. And write. Big fan of Cathy Camper’s bilingual Spacey graphic novels for kids, and Aaron Nels Steinke’s “Mr. Wolf’s Class.” And I want to catch up more on adult contemporary authors. If selected, I would suds off the farm dirt and clean my fingernails to be happily bookish for the day.
