GIRL GOD is a comedy and writing duo featuring April Clark and Grace Freud. Their live shows are surreal, interactive performances with jokes from their trans and queer perspective that are actually funny and not just looking for applause. With sold out shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles–not to mention sketches that have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times online–Girl God is the most popular trans comedy group performing today, if not ever.

GRACE FREUD is a writer and comedian based on Earth. She’s currently an executive story editor on the upcoming Mike Judge/Greg Daniels animated series Bad Crimes for Netflix. She was a story editor on the upcoming Adult Swim series XV-LIV and prior to that was a staff-writer on Rick and Morty. She has also consulted on The Eric Andre Show. She is a member of the popular trans comedy duo Girl God with April Clark. Her first comic book, Rick and Morty Presents: Jerryboree, was published this year and she is working on her second graphic novel. Prior to writing for Television, Grace wrote for all of your favorite comedy websites, including ClickHole, The Onion and Funny or Die. Grace has performed stand-up all over the country including festivals like SF SketchFest and Chicago’s TNK Fest. She would put more about her life here, but she’s saving those details for her memoirs.

APRIL CLARK is a writer, comedian and member of the popular trans comedy duo Girl God with Grace Freud. Her sketches have been viewed millions of times across platforms and she’s performed in sold out shows with Girl God across the country. She skipped high school, graduated college at 18, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Women’s and Gender Studies at SUNY Stony Brook. April thinks women should smile less, so they don’t get wrinkles.
