In 2019, Kris celebrated the 10th anniversary of his American Idol win by releasing “10,” an album of reimagined acoustic versions of some of his most beloved songs of the previous decade, including fan-favorite “Waves” and his platinum-selling single “Live Like We’re Dying.” In 2021, Kris followed this up with the release of “Don’t Stop Dancing” and 4 other singles that launched a new era of music for the Arkansas-born musician. Songs like “Hallelujah! For Now” and “Different Bridges” feature the imaginative songwriting and stunning vocals that put Kris on the map and pave the way for his upcoming album featuring your next favorite song. When not making music and playing it live across the world, Kris lives in Nashville with his wife Katy and three kids.
I would love to go to see this
We would love to go! Been watching American Idol since I was a kid
This would be sweet to take my hubby to!
This is something that should be on everyone’s list… besides what’s better than winning free tickets!
I’d love to go because I’m one of the people who watched his American idol season and rooted for him, and at the time I was living in Brazil. In 2019 I was at his Old Church concert an it was amazing so I’d love to go again!
My brother and I have been following Kris Allen since the beginning of his America Idol journey. It was 2009, and two of us had the whole family obsessed. We’re from Pakistan and it’s just one of those crazy things where I ended up moving to Portland, Oregon and my brother calls me in the middle of the night to tell me Kris Allen is performing near me. We would absolutely be over the moon to win these tickets. Being an international student, tickets are actually expensive and hard to afford because of conversion rates. So winning these would be an actual dream come true for younger selves sitting in front of the tv back home in Pakistan in 2009, praying for Kris Allen to win. And when he did, our parents took us out to celebrate. On top of all that! It’s my brother’s birthday on the 11th of May and if that isn’t fate, I don’t know what is. Live Like We’re Dying has been an absolute favorite for as long as I can remember. It’s gotten me through some really tough times and if I could listen to that live this Thursday, it would mean everything!
Another great evening at TOC.
