Farnell Newton is one of the NW’s most accomplished trumpeters, having studied at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and achieving a Masters in Jazz Studies from Portland State University. His performance credits include touring stints with Boosty Collins and Jill Scott, as well as playing with Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Galactic and many more legends. Tonight he brings his homage to George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, The Othership Connection, to The Goodfoot for the first time in two years! The band is fired up to funk you!!
