The 29th Annual H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival will take place Oct 4-6, 2024 on all 3 screens at the Hollywood Theatre!
Our filmmaker Guest of Honor is Aaron Moorhead, one half of the filmmaking force of Benson & Moorhead, which wrote and directed films like The Endless, Something in The Dirt, Spring, Synchronic, and more!
More than 60 short & feature films,plus author readings, panel discussions, scholarly presentations, and much more!
Festival Highlights include:
- 60+ short and feature films from around the world
- US Premieres of THE DÆMON and DREAM EATER, and WORLD PREMIERE of Lovecraftian period drama THE LETTER.
- Special presentations of RESOLUTION & THE ENDLESS, plus keynote with Guest of Honor AARON MOORHEAD (Director of The Endless, Something in the Dirt), appearing Saturday and Sunday
- Q&As with visiting filmmakers
- Tribute to Roger Corman
- The Dunwich Horror Picture Show!

This year’s short films are an expansive lineup of adaptations of stories by Lovecraft and his contemporaries like Edgar Allan Poe, PLUS original Weird tales and Cosmic Horror from Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Sweden, Turkey, UK, and the US, representing the wide diversity of filmmakers creating cosmic horror cinema today.
