Pickathon 2026 is back at Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Oregon, July 30 through August 2. Now in its 26th year, this beloved Portland-area festival brings together legends and rising stars across four magical days in the woods. This year’s lineup celebrates the pioneers who built the genres we love. Steve Earle, Marcos Valle, Built to Spill, Shakey Graves, Quasi, Acid King, Clinton Fearon, and Meridian Brothers headline a bill that spans alt-country, bossa nova, indie rock, reggae, doom metal, and psychedelic cumbia. Shakey Graves returns to Pendarvis as a true festival favorite, and Portland’s own Quasi feels like a homecoming.
But discovery is always the heart of Pickathon. The 2026 lineup is packed with artists on the rise, including soul-revival powerhouses Thee Sinseers and The Altons, jazz visionary Mary Halvorson, indie favorites Widowspeak, hip-hop legend Lyrics Born, and dozens more spanning bluegrass, psych-rock, folk, country, and beyond.
The music is only part of the experience. Pickathon is a one-of-a-kind temporary city built in the woods, with handcrafted forest stages, zero waste operations, and every artist playing at least two unique sets. Explore the new Mountains of Sound pavilion, enjoy the intimate farm-to-table Curation dining series, bring the kids to Captain Coyote’s Frog Bog, and wander between performances, art installations, wellness offerings, comedy, and literary readings.This is what a music festival can be when it’s built with intention.

I will love to see with this weekend show with the love of my life, we haven going through a lot last year when we find out that he has a mutation of cancer on his bones. Time is precious and valuable , So every single moment is to celebrate, life and the little and big blessings that we have.

I’ve always wanted to go to Pickathon and We are just never able to afford it. My partner and I are both avid music fans and have been participants in the local scene for many years(decades) but as you know, musicians famously tend to be on the lower end of the income earners and we spend more than we should on buying albums, merch and shows! Pickathon, why would I wanna go?? So many reasons! The lineup is insane, the one time I got to go the community was lovely, the food was bomb (I still saved my reuseable cup from last time!!) most importantly, music is my boyfriend and I’s shared passion and would coincide right with our anniversary if we got to go. 🙂

I would really like to win these weekend passes because I’m struggling to find ways to bridge the growing gap between my 13 year old daughter and I. Music is one of the common threads we share. But as a single mom we can’t ever afford to do things like go to a festival. This would be an incredible shared experience for the two of us that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.

I heard about this festival from my fiance who lived in Happy Valley for years, but had never attended. He made it sound like this super hip, underground, secret festival in the middle of the forest and I was so intrigued.
