Known to many as “Portland’s Pillar Of Soul”, Ural Thomas is set to receive a proclamation from the City Of Portland declaring December 21st “Ural Thomas Day”. It all goes down during the 85th birthday celebration for this international soul music legend, who will perform live at Revolution Hall with hometown heroes, Ural Thomas & The Pain.

The party features hosts Johnny Franco & His Real Brother Dom, a performance by Rattlesnake Mama and live visuals by Spoiler Room. And to boot, Albina Music Trust & Mississippi Records will be releasing a vinyl record & book featuring rare Ural Thomas recordings and an oral history of his life! With a variety of acts & surprises in store, this dynamic revue is set to be one for the books!
