Portland’s sweet-hearts Johnny Franco and his real brother Dom present The Franco’s New Year’s Eve special. The most exciting Wednesday of the year is here and these Brazilian brothers have a program packed with up-beat music, comedy and tear-jerking performances by powerful guests and backed by a 7-piece band of celebrated musicians of international fame.
São Paulo natives, Johnny Franco and his Real Brother Dom, are shaking up the Portland, Oregon music scene with their charm and charisma. Serving up 5 day weekends every week, no stage is too big or too small for their iconic and hilarious brand of entertainment — including but not limited to songs.
The duo was signed by producer Sterling Fox (Lana Del Rey, Elle King) on his label Blanket Fort in 2020. Johnny’s debut EP “Experience Report #1” feels timeless with singles like “Immediate Love”. It combines sophisticated lyricism and original vocal stylings with a unique jangly Brazilian beat. The duo was featured on Treefort 2022, Jam in the Van 2022, and Pickathon 2024. Their humorous delivery of crowd-favorite originals like “Ones and Pennies” and “Cucumber Vodka” along with a unique interpretation of the classics produce an irresistible urge to move, to laugh, to cry and to applaud.
