PHAME Academy is taking on their most ambitious project yet — an all-Talking Heads multimedia extravaganza inspired by Jonathan Demme’s legendary 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense, live onstage at Revolution Hall. This rock n’ roll event brings together talented artists with and without disabilities, including special guests Laura Gibson, Lost Lander, Blitzen Trapper’s Brian Koch, Stephanie Strange, Matthew Gailey, and Adrianna Audoma.

Join the artists of PHAME for a once-in-a-lifetime experience directed by Jessica Dart and Jason Rouse, with music direction by Amy Faulhaber assisted by Dave Chachere, choreography by PHAME artist JJ Ross, and featuring an outstanding team of vocalists, dancers, musicians, and visual artists.

Stop Making Sense is supported by the Oregon Cultural Trust. It is also supported by a Creative Heights grant from the Oregon Community Foundation. PHAME receives generous operating support from the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
