Our mission is rooted in the belief that art has the power to bring people together, spark conversation, and inspire change.
Start your day off right with a delicious drag brunch, featuring some of the most talented and entertaining drag queens in the area. Featuring catering by Waffle Window and endless mimosas! Drag brunch is 10am-Noon and is $100 per seat, tickets available through EventBrite.
The free Summer Solstice Festival event continues after brunch from Noon- 5pm. Popup tattoo artist, raffle tickets and vendor items will be available for purchase.
If you’re feeling daring, why not visit our popup tattoo artist? Get inked, choose from one of our pre-designed tattoos that are sure to turn heads.
For the little ones (and the young at heart), we will have face painting available. Choose from a variety of designs and let our talented artists create a work of art on your face that you’ll never forget.
Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for a chance to win some amazing prizes donated by our sponsors and vendors. And as the day heats up, we will have live music to keep you dancing and singing along.
Be sure to stop by the taco truck, grab some ice cream, check out our craft vendors, enjoy beer and wine, and make a flower crown.
Our organization offers a variety of inclusive art programs, exhibitions, and experiences that promote social justice and environmental protection, and we are proud to create a welcoming and inclusive space where all individuals can express themselves through art and feel a sense of belonging. We prioritize sustainability in all aspects of our operations and believe in reducing our environmental impact and promoting environmentally conscious practices in the arts.
At Parallax Art Center, we are guided by a set of values and principles that inform our actions, interactions, and approaches when working with the community and with each other. Our ethics statement ensures that we remain true to our vision of a more compassionate and equitable world, where inclusivity, kindness, and authenticity are paramount. We believe in constantly staying informed and self-reflective on global and community matters and approaching our programming with a commitment to inclusivity, altruism, and a de-centered approach that uplifts others.
