Step into maritime history with guided tours, hands-on activities, and engaging lectures this month:

Friday, May 22, 11AM – Historic Vessels Guided Tour
Celebrate National Maritime Day with a special tour highlighting the Museum’s historic vessels. Included with admission.

Saturdays starting May 23, 12N – 2PM – Model Boat Sailing Season
Head to the Warnock Model Boat Pond for R/C sailboat rentals. Learn the basics and enjoy the outdoor campus. Suggested $5 donation.

Sunday, May 24, 11AM – Must-See Museum Tour
Discover the Museum’s most notable artifacts on this highlights tour led by our Education team. Included with admission.

Tuesday, May 26, 11AM – Adult Lecture: Ships Named Astoria
Join Education Director Katy Menne for a look at the history of vessels named Astoria, from naval ships to modern-day namesakes. Included with admission.

Open Daily 11A – 3PM – Lightship Columbia with Guided Engine Room Tours (Included with admission)

A National Historic Landmark that once guided ships to safety at the mouth of the Columbia River offers an opportunity to explore where sailors would cook, eat, sleep, and work.
