The Goodfoot will have an art opening last Thurs Oct 30th, the show will be up until Dec 1st. This months feature artists are Richard Melloy and Zak Gere. Along with music selected by DJ Kaeli Hertz.

Richard Melloy
“My work expresses my thoughts about the past, my thoughts about the present, and my thoughts about my future. These are ideas that are expressed in one work that follow through to the next in all cases. I work on around twenty paintings all at once, jumping from painting to painting until they all are completed. I start with a basic idea, then as the work develops it will take unexpected twist and turns for its entire life or until its finished.”

Zak Gere
was born in Portland, Oregon, in 1978. As a self-taught artist, he has been independently showing and selling art since 1999. Zaks paintings vary greatly in subject and style from photo realistic portraits to highly stylized figures and landscapes. Zak also sculpts with a variety of materials but has focused on wire sculpture which he builds in to incredibly detailed solid forms
