“How Do We Get Home? Abundant Housing for a Sustainable, Equitable Future” features a panel of community leaders and housing policy experts focused on the intersections of affordability, community design, homelessness, and racial justice. Panelists will discuss how Portland and other cities can keep rent and home prices under control, stem our houselessness crisis, offer more housing and more affordable housing choices, and keep communities equitable and welcoming for all as we grow. Featuring Jerusalem Demsas, Policy Reporter, The Atlantic, Rukaiyah Adams, Board Chair, Albina Vision Trust, Sam Diaz, Executive Director, 1000 Friends of Oregon, Dr Marisa Zapata, Director, Portland State University’s Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative. The discussion will be moderated and recorded for future broadcast by Dave Miller, host of OPB’s Think Out Loud.
