Celebrate the solstice Thursday, December 22nd at the Mission Theater as Portland’s most sinful storytelling series returns with an exploration of history’s most sinful, fickle, and human characters: the Gods.

Saturnalia: Pantheon features eight of the Pacific Northwest’s premier writers, musicians, filmmakers, comedians, poets, performance artists, and storytellers telling hilarious, heartbreaking, and inspiring true stories in their own medium — each based on one of the Gods and Goddesses of myth and ancient religion.

Featuring performances by The Moth host and PICA artist Andrew Dickson, Oregon Book Award winner and author of No God Like The Mother Kesha Ajose-Fisher, creator and host of The People’s Poets Brianna Grisby, singer, songwriter, and Lenore alum Joy Pearson, improv group and creators of Whatchu Wanna Know Broke Gravy, comedian, filmmaker, playwright, and Live Wire alum Jason Rouse, Comedy Sportz champ and director of Every Little Thing Leann Ruth Johnson, PDX storyteller extraordinaire Pat McCreery, and more. With original music scored by the award-winning composer and orchestrator for The Dandy Warhols with the Oregon Symphony and Zola Jesus Quintets Louise Woodward.
