This April, the heart of East County comes alive as the 2026 Mt. Hood Jazz Festival returns to Mt. Hood Community College for five unforgettable days of world-class music, education, and community celebration. Running April 22–26, 2026, this historic festival—presented by Conn-Selmer—invites audiences of all ages to immerse themselves in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic cultural traditions.

This year’s festival promises an extraordinary lineup of internationally renowned jazz artists, local favorites, and rising young musicians. Attendees can enjoy a wide range of performances across the MHCC campus as well as partner venues throughout Gresham and Portland, creating a dynamic musical experience woven directly into the fabric of our region.

The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival is more than a series of concerts—it’s a vibrant community gathering that showcases the full journey of musicianship, from middle school ensembles to celebrated professionals. Educational opportunities abound, including clinics, masterclasses, and a large multi-day competition for high school and middle school jazz ensembles.
