Well, I’ve had a rough year. Separated literally one year ago. Divorce was final in October. I’ve had my moments of feeling low, but also healing, growth, and attempting to thrive. Been a reclusive hermit for about 3/4 of the year, while trying to navigate this new world. Then my beloved beagle was diagnosed with lymphoma approx a month and a half ago. It took him fast. He crossed the rainbow bridge last month. I’m quite sure there is a country song that could be my theme song for this year. Alas, I’m not a fan of country music anyways. One of my best friends who has also had a rough year, is single, and who would come with me if chosen, has come up with a plan for the two of us recently. Each month we must get out of the house and do something together that is out of our comfort zone or that is new to us or that seems exciting. This would definitely be our “something” for December if chosen as we have just recently been browsing events for what we could do for New Years Eve. And… this may even count for January as this event will literally be held on two seperate days and two seperate months. Two in one deal! 😀
