About My Siamese Twin
’80s cover band
My Siamese Twin is a Portland based band that plays songs by your favorite alternative bands of the 80’s. Bands such as The Smiths/Morrissey, The Cure, New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cult, The Church, Psychedelic Furs, REM, and many more!
About Family Worship Center
1970s Style Rock n Roll
In a time when he was spiritually and artistically aimless, Family Worship Center’s shamanistic figurehead Andy Krissberg took a brief hiatus from creating music. He embarked on a freewheeling, soul-searching journey inspired by the late ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax. Krissberg visited remote places across the country, creating field recordings of musicians he met straight to vinyl on a 1940s record lathe.
About Cedar Teeth
Rustic Roots Rock
Cedar Teeth didn’t plan to start a band around the campfires that lit up their Oregon youths in the forests of the Cascade foothills that form a clear-cut divide between Portland and the surrounding wilderness. The genre bending roots troupe owe their inception to bassist Rayson Gordon, who forged a musical link between friends and provided their secret headquarters: a cedar shed on his grandparents’ 40 acre forestland on Green Mountain Road. In their new practice space, campfire tunes turned into intricate songwriting and friendships became a partnership.
About How Long Jug Band
Blues, Ragtime, Jazz
Inspired by the classic jug bands of the 1920’s and 30’s, the How Long Jug Band blends kazoos, washboards and jugs seamlessly with conventional guitars, mandolins and banjos. Since their start in 2010, they’ve released three albums, have performed at the National Jug Band Jubilee in Louisville, Kentucky four times and were inducted into the Jug Band Hall of Fame. While they sometimes slip a modern song into the mix, the How Longs mostly draw from early blues, ragtime and jazz, digging into obscure songs to find lyrics and arrangements that are too good to be forgotten.
