On July 16th the city that “keeps it weird” will host the U.S. Air Guitar National Finals. US Air Guitar, the official governing body of competitive air guitar in America, has already held competitions in over 20 cities from coast-to-coast and for one night, these rock stars will travel from all over the country to shred invisible guitars for the opportunity to represent the United States at the World Air Guitar Championships in Oulu, Finland.
And you won’t want to miss a very special halftime spectacle from our featured performers: aerial chains performer Heady Metal and fire ballerina Alicia Cutaia!

As an avid “air guitarist” as well…I’d LOVE TO check this out. 1.) because it sounds f-ing rad 2.) because Dante’s is THE spot and 3.) so I can yell my butt off at someone awesome human beings!
This is the one show where I’d be able to “duet” the main artists 😉 I’ll shred with the best of ’em!

My personal fave for air guitar is “are you gonna go my way” by Lenny Kravitz. I’m sure the finalists are going to shred on everything.
