Realms Unknown Festival invites you to step beyond the ordinary and into a world built entirely for you. Taking place September 18–20, 2026, on 50 lush acres at Lewis River Golf in Woodland, Washington, Realms Unknown is a three-day, all-genre fantasy festival with camping – where storytelling, live performance, and hands-on adventure collide.

The premise is simple, and a little magical: ours is but one reality among countless others, separated by a boundary known as The Veil. When a group of goblins breach that boundary using an unlikely blend of magic and technology, they extend an invitation to crafters, diplomats, explorers, and scoundrels alike to gather at Realms Unknown. Guests don’t just watch the story unfold — they live inside it, through interactive performances, character encounters, and quests that thread through every corner of the festival grounds.

By day, the festival grounds come alive with thrilling live combat demonstrations, jousting tournaments, and martial arts displays, alongside an artisan marketplace stocked with handcrafted costumes, jewelry, weapons, and magical curiosities from talented vendors. Multiple stages host live music, theatrical performances, and fire shows, while taverns and food vendors keep the feast going late into the night. As evening falls, string lights and firelight take over, and the line between performer and guest blurs even further.

Realms Unknown is built for full immersion — extend your stay with on-site tent or RV camping and make a weekend of it. The festival is intentionally welcoming to all ages and abilities, with ADA-friendly accommodations and family-friendly programming woven throughout, so whether you’re a lifelong LARPer, a first-time cosplayer, or simply curious what waits on the other side, there’s a place for you here.
