Woohoo, Rose Festival!!!
Fun memories w our 3yo
It’s been a heck of a school year- I’d love to celebrate the (almost) end of the year with something fun like this with my family!
Portland has gotten heavy lately, and I think that’s why the Rose Festival matters so much. There’s something kind of magical about thousands of strangers gathering on the waterfront for fireworks, greasy fair food, parade lights, and the simple decision to keep celebrating together anyway. I’d love to take my favorite person, wander CityFair at night, people-watch, eat something fried we absolutely don’t need, and feel that very specific Portland feeling again — weird, hopeful, creative, and alive. Plus the Starlight Parade has been on my “romantic main character moment” list for years.
We moved up here from Eugene to live closer to family. This will be our first full Summer living here and we are ready to dive into all that Portland has to offer!
Would love to go
We beat the odds and we’re still standing! Would love to take myself and 2 kids to opening night.
I’d like to win because I haven’t been on a Rose Festival carnival ride since I was 22 and now I’d love to experience it with my 22 year old daughter! 😁
I’ve always wanted to go to the rose festival!
This would be such a wonderful time. I hope I win. yeah!
I want to do the Starlight Run!
Would so enjoy taking my grandson!
It would be cool to check out my first rose city event, observe all of the fun events and connect with the community!
Hi! I’m visiting my stepson and meeting his partner and their four-year old daughter for the first time! I’m from Michigan, grew up attending my county fair and love the idea of introducing my granddaughter to her first a “real city fair”. I now live in New Hampshire and can’t wait to enjoy my time in PDX! Gotta keep up the family tradition!
Sounds fun haven’t been in a long time!
love to show my PDX vistors Portland
Would love to win these for my grandchild! This is my favorite time of year in Portland with all the festivities and family friendly fun!
My 8 year old would be elated to visit City Fair and spend some quality mother/daughter time together on the rides and eating tasty fair food! 🎡🎢🌭🥨

It’s been over a decade since I’ve visited the rose festival!
I have never been able to afford the expensive entry fee or the rides and as a native Portlander, I’d love to see what’s inside.
