Get ready, Hood River — a fresh new tradition is brewing! This fall, we’re raising a glass to two of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic seasonal offerings: crisp craft ciders and fresh hop beers.
Join us for the first-ever Hood River Orchard & Ale Festival, a fresh festival that brings together the region’s finest cidermakers and brewers during peak harvest season. Nestled in the heart of orchard country and hop fields, this event is your chance to sip the freshest pours in one of Oregon’s most scenic settings.
FREE entry for those under 21 – ticket required
We do not require a tasting glass to participate in the tastings. Commemorative glasses are optional and are available for purchase ahead of time. Limited supplies will be available at the event.
If not purchasing a glass, please help us reduce our waste footprint by bringing your own! Jars, mugs steins, are all allowed. Otherwise, your tastes will be served in a plastic cup.

I’ve never gone to this festival before but would love to watch kite surfers and soak in the lovely fall weather in hood river with some autumnal beverages.
The former Fresh Hop Festival now incorporates cider, expanding the showcase of the Hood River area’s featured crops! A truly unique NW event and not to be missed.
It’s my favorite time of the year.
